Because they want a strong-man with autocratic tendencies. That's what nationalism looks like. We've seen numerous examples in history. Trump is just a more incompetent and (frankly) stupid version of them. And I mean "stupid" as in "not intelligent", not just a throw-away term. Because he isn't intelligent. He's genuinely stupid. Without his father's money he would have been a zero in life. Maybe in prison for trying to run some sort of con.

I wouldn't like Haley, either. But I would regard her as a serious-minded candidate for the Reps.
