This is just wrong. Kids were and still are considered a big vector in spreading the disease. If the object is to limit the spread, which during the initial phases of the pandemic is an object, then kids are good to be vaccinated when there becomes enough vaccine available. We had fear and misinformation being generated by supposed "adults", which lead to more folks becoming antivaxx.

And I do remember that during one major spread the Oklahoma panhandle's hospitals were overwhelmed, so they transferred kids with corona out of those hospitals to another state. It's the only time I remember where they were saying that kids were being infected by corona in large enough amounts to matter. If there's one spot, there's probably another. The object was to keep the hospitals from being overwhelmed. They did become overwhelmed.

You are just repeating things without critically analyzing them first.
