Subject: Re: Red state raw milk disease outbreak
Louis Pasteur was solving a non-existent problem.
Pasteur was the essence of woke. Think about it. Society had been happily living its truth for thousands of years, secure in the belief that disease came from bad smells, mysterious vapors, divine displeasure, or whatever explanation happened to be fashionable at the time. Then along comes Pasteur, insisting that there are invisible forces all around us causing harm whether we believe in them or not.
Although...fortunately for civilization, the microbes didn't care about anybody's politics. They just kept proving him right.
