I didn’t leave them off as leaders in the Democratic Party. I specifically included Mamdani and AOC- just not as presidential candidates. Mamdani is not eligible and in my view- though AOC is a force to be reckoned with, I’d like to see her continue maturing as a politician.

Hakeem- he is a leader in the Democratic Party, but has failed in his job to stand up to Trump as vigorously as the times demand, so I wouldn’t vote for him.

It’s with the governors. That’s where the center of gravity resides.
