Subject: msnbc and *perfect* timing
So Morning Joe had Rep. Clyburn on to talk about inflation. What he said more or less is the standard talking point as we've seen on this board: Things are really awesome, you guys!

This is how it played out. First, Mika cuts to a focus group:

They were asked to raise their hands if they thought they would be better off under Trump's policies. Every single person did.

Then came Clyburn. Mika sets it up that undecided voters are saying they're struggling and being gaslit by Biden:

“I think that we have to focus on people's everyday lives. And 401ks are not about people's everyday lives. And I do believe just from my own observations, from the conversations I have had with people, there are concerns about things like inflation. But what we’ve got to get them to see is that inflation today is about 40 percent of what it was when Joe Biden took office. And so the inflation rates are down, and people’s incomes are up. Unemployment is on the decrease, and although we see the prices at the stores costing more money, people are, in fact, earning greater incomes. So what we've got to do is make sure people see the policies of the Biden administration, how they effect their everyday lives, and get them to see in his policies that which is real. Not what they may hear on social media.”

LOL. So all those people just told msnbc they're being gaslit by Biden and here comes Clyburn to...do some more gasilghting.

Then...this happened. Mika had to cut away from Clyburn and talk about the breaking news...of inflation being up.

Perfect.
