Subject: Re: Kirk suspect's rifle
Dope1: Ammunition cartridges recovered along with the bolt-action rifle used in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk were scrawled with transgender and anti-fascist messages, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The New York Times is reporting that the information concerning scrawled messages on the cartridges in the WSJ article were never verified by A.T.F., did not match any of the other summaries of the evidence, and are likely false. No other news organizations are reporting anything about the casing, at least nothing that comes from a source other than the WSJ.
When you think about it for two minutes, you have to ask yourself this: what in the hell are transgender and anti-fascist messages and how in the hell would you scrawl them on two-inch casings?
Dope1: Fortunately we've had a change of leadership in this country, otherwise this detail may never have come to light.
This "detail" clearly did not meet the journalistic standards expected of a newspaper as respected as the WSJ but would certainly fit this administration's capacity to spew nonsense.
