At 2Q, the firm had guided very broadly, with the update narrowing expectations to the low end. So the pop is in spite of the negative news / revisions downwards on SSS and earnings. Probably also a case of the Board getting in front of another case of Owens overpromising and underdelivering, as bleak as the 2Q report had been.
