Subject: Democratic Veepstakes
For those keeping score, CNN has reported that North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly are among the Democrats who have been asked to submit information about their finances, family histories and other personal details as part of the vetting process. Evidently there were about ten names on the long list; not sure who made the short list other than those three.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, when asked today, said she had not been asked for any paperwork and that to the best of her knowledge the paperwork she submitted for consideration in 2020 was destroyed.
