Subject: New Details of Dereliction of Duty
On January 6 when Trump was urged to calm things down, he did the opposite. Within minutes after Trump tweeted that "Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution," the mob swarmed into the U.S. Capitol.

Special counsel Jack Smith's team has uncovered previously undisclosed details about former President Donald Trump's refusal to help stop the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol three years ago as he sat watching TV inside the White House ... former Trump aide Nick Luna told federal investigators that when Trump was informed that then-Vice President Mike Pence had to be rushed to a secure location, Trump responded, "So what?"

So what.

Trump literally has little interest in whether or not his own vice president died at the hands of his armed mob.

When others in the White House saw the tweet blaming Pence for failing him, they rushed to Trump's former deputy chief of staff, Dan Scavino, the only individual other than Trump authorized to send out tweets from Trump's account, and demanded to know how he could incite and already angry mob.

Trump's aides told investigators they were shocked by the post. Aside from Trump, Scavino was the only other person with access to Trump's Twitter account, and he was often the one actually posting messages to it, so when the message about Pence popped up, Cipollone and another White House attorney raced to find Scavino, demanding to know why he would post that in the midst of such a precarious situation, sources said.

Scavino said he was as blindsided by the post as they were, insisting to them, "I didn't do it."

So Trump didn't care if Pence was hanged or shot, had no regard for Pence's wife and daughter who were with him, and actually tried to incite the mob to more violent behavior.

Yet you still love him, Pence will still vote for him, and Haley and DeSantis will pardon him.

But it's not a cult.
