Because of misinformation spread about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine, we never reached the percentage needed to shut down the spread.

Sill, with large numbers of people getting vaccinated, hospitalizations and deaths dropped off significantly…. at least among vaccinated.

Among unvaccinated- not so much.
