Subject: Re: Obama still hoping for another candidate
I'm suggesting you ponder why Obama has failed to endorse Kamala.

========================

Barack Obama is still a relatively young enough "party elder" to be around and influential for probably five more Presidential cycles. At that point, he'll be 82 and we've apparently already established via this election that no one can be trusted beyond age 82, even if the alternative is hellbent on ceding half of NATO territories to Russia without firing a shot. Until Obama reaches the age of 82, he is always going to be expected to be or accused of wielding influence behind the scenes as a kingmaker as long as the Democratic party exists in its current political alignment with its current factions. Obama realizes no one likes the idea of "insiders" and "kingmakers" so he knows if he actually wants to PRESERVE that influence for particularly dire situtations, it's best not to seen wielding it when it isn't strictly necessary.

It absolutely isn't necessary at this time for him to be seen weighing in when anyone who might be a challenger has already publicly backed away. There is zero doubt he will be crucial in re-animating discontented or apathetic voters at the right point in the coming days and will excel at the task. ZERO.
