Subject: Re: The Impact of AI on Engineering and Art
Interesting and thought provoking article, WatchingTH.
I suspect that many run-of-the-mill artists will use AI to speed up production of their art, producing ever more run-off-the-mill art ... much like they did before they used AI. This will devalue their product as they and everyone else can produce more of it.
Artists with more to 'say' in their art should have plenty of opportunity to impose their will on the AI output, if they choose to use AI tools, and continue to create art with sufficient novelty to command our attention.
