Changing the hosting won't solve the intermittent slow downs as it will likely be an error on my side (within the programming) rather than related to the server administration.

The periods when slow are brief and if you return a few minutes later it is usually resolved from the auto-monitoring.

Looking into it now. I'll get to the bottom of it in any case.
