Will be interesting. Perhaps on a pullback he buys more.'
WEB and CTM both seem to absolutely love Apple, ecosystem, Tim Cook, huge consistent buybacks & treatment of shareholders, balance sheet and consumer addiction to their products. I think WEB even considers our huge position almost like another BRK subsidiary. WEB seems incredibly calm and thoughtful when he reads potentially unsettling headlines, and I would not be surprised if he added a bit more of there is much more than this 10% pullback.
I've owned it since '06 and added to it over the years (in a taxable account)with rare minimal trimming. It is my #2 position and I am sitting tight as I suspect WEB is but certainly not critical of your sell decision at a good price. I trust Tim and his crew to navigate these uncertain and choppy waters as well as anyone , and they continue to expand the supply chain beyond China over time. They've done a nice job climbing and choosing a successful route up wall of worry over the years and looking out long-term.
