Good point. Maybe the impression I have of ALL new TMF boards that they are very silent is wrong and caused by the "Dismiss new" button which I frequently use when a new post seems not be interesting. I am never sure whether that button dismisses only that one post or more (the whole thread? As I hate the interface I didn't bother finding out exactly how everything works).
