Sure, but when has that ever been a consideration for Trump? But it wouldn't have to be PURE gold. It could be gold plated brass, or some such similar thing a lot more "luxurious" than gold plated plastic.

Also at the current spot price of gold at $4000 an ounce, a mere 64 million buys about 1000 lbs of the stuff!
