Lest anyone forget, remember St. Ronnie was also responsible for DELAYING the release of the hostages in Tehran by conducting direct conversations with Iranian officials DURING the 1980 election, convincing them to hold them not only through the election to avoid an "October Surprise" but through to inauguration, purely to further humuliate Carter. The history of traitorous election skullduggery on the part of Republicans is long and nearly continuous back to at least 1968.
