That - is American political discourse. The Tribals and Media-Rabbit-Slaves on both sides can't get beyond bumper stickers and dog whistles - and do nuance.

I agree. For some odd reason when I was a kid in school--- why didn't we have lockdown drills? The right to bear arms was still there. But the culture hadn't decayed to what it is now. And now we have more people - who want to pull the trigger.


BUT because I have no faith in American culture, and American socioeconomic trends, I feel many Americans are unable to handle owning a firearm. Hence - I'm not wanting to grab guns. I want to prevent nut jobs from having them.
