but even chanting "you shall not replace us" while carrying tiki torches isn't a hate crime either (even though it is singling out a single religious/ethnic group). As long as they don't illegally occupy a federal office building, or vandalize, or threaten people directly, or plow into them with cars, I'm pretty sure they're on the safe side of the line. I may consider it odious, but it isn't -to my knowledge- illegal. It is, in fact, protected speech.

I remember when 9/11 happened President Bush was quick to defend American Arab/Muslims they were no way responsible for the actions of the perpetrators causing the onslaught of 9/11.
I totally agreed with President Bush.

Fast forward to today..free speech or not, I take it personally when AMERICAN Muslims chant Death To America. That includes me, my family. How dare they. My opinion today is different.
Protest all you want, but choose your words carefully.
