LurkerMom: What the heck does Obama have to do with any of this?
Let me help you understand. Every presidency faces challenges that must be resolved. For Obama, it was the worst financial catastrophe since the Great Depression. For Trump, the pandemic. Obama successfully guided the country through the Great Recession and still added 8.9 million jobs despite that challenge. Trump, though, was unsuccessful. Over one million Americans ended up dead and for the first time since Herbert Hoover, a president left office losing more jobs than he created; negative job growth, losing three million jobs.
LurkerMom: Stop reaching back for nonsense that has nothing to do with Biden's failed presidency.
Failed how?
12 million new jobs -- Biden has the best jobs record of any president in history during the first two year in office.
3.5 unemployment rate -- and a modern low unemployment rate of 3.4% in January 2023.
$35/month cap on insulin -- first for seniors, then for all Americans.
Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal -- after Trump claiming "Infrastructure Week" was coming for the four years of his presidency, Biden got it done.
Chips and Science Act -- Biden is bringing back manufacturing jobs, again after Trump failed to do so.
PACT Act -- the most significant expansion of benefits and services for toxic exposed veterans in more than 30 years; Trump called Vets "losers" and "suckers".
Record-breaking 16.3 million Americans got ACA health care coverage -- Trump promised to, but failed to kill the ACA and today its stronger than ever.
Revitalized NATO -- Biden led the resurgence of NATO, welcoming Finland and Sweden to the alliance.
In short, Biden has had one of the most successful first two years in office of any modern president.
Get over it.
