US consumers will vote with their dollars. As EVs become ever cheaper to build and operate, the market WILL shift--and it doesn't matter what the govt tries to force on the public. There WILL be a huge electoral shift if people are NOT allowed to buy EVs and save $$$. Business is already moving to EVs--and the govt is NOT stopping them.
