Subject: scientific changes
Cool article. On very few occasions has science "changed its mind", and here's the reason why. Mostly happens in "young" fields" since the mid-1800s, when methodical science really got started. Sure, change happens all the time, but seldom a complete reversal in thinking (one example being the aether, cited in this article).

But that’s not how science works. Or, more precisely, it’s not how science works except in two specific, relatively unusual circumstances.
