I followed Asians and also a German fellow whose lab perfected the PCR test I understand he created for the first SARS. His opinion was that Covid was highly more likely to come from animal origin, and he partly based it on his educated look at the Covid structure. He said that it was logical to modify X first, then proceed to y and Z. None of that had happened. I based dumping the lab leak on his view, not because of a squash, though if there had been some watermelon I may have come around. :)
