Subject: Re: Trump Failed, Biden Succeeded
BHM: Personally, I would like to see drug prices come down, but praising Biden for doing it is pre-mature.
No it isn't, not one bit. There are always legal skirmishes and your warnings are normal. You can make up warnings on anything - that's why we have the expression "slippery slope", which most of the time is a fallacy.
The Pharma capitalists have to realize that if they get too out of hand, we'll step in, maybe set the prices for them, or make it easier for foreign manufactured drugs to be on the market, or both. So yes, Biden gets a huge plus from me for starting down this road and I'm as surprised as anyone he could pull it off. I think a lot of us Dems were pleasantly surprised by his legislative victories for you and for me. - Lapsody

Two questions....
1) Have drug prices come down? It is a simple question and the answer is NO.
2) Given the answer to #1, is it true that Biden has (past tense) brought prices down? The only answer can be No.
Lets say Biden announces he has passed into law a new $10 Trillion dollar tax on the wealthy that is earmarked for debt elimination. The new tax is set to kick in starting in 2050. Would you agree with him when he announces, "We have eliminated the national debt"?
