No. Blustering is what you do. He's an experienced prosecutor.

It's really a gift to him. I'm not well-versed in the legal details. I suspect he wasn't able to talk about the case in any detail at the time. But he has to tell "the whole truth" in a court of law, which -I assume- means getting into the case against the Felon as much as he wants, as long as it is even slightly relevant to his case. On the record in open court. I don't think it's Smith who should be afraid.
