Actually, we Americans are very privileged. I, as an American, could not go to Canada (CANADA!!) and say something against the prime minister. I'd be arrested. Europe is not as free with speech as we are, also. Never has been. They also still have state-sponsored religion.

Where I can say anything about a politician here and there isn't anything they can do about it. Ditto religion. Etc.
