...if Trump loses.
And that, folks, is today's republican party. Either they claim that Trump actually won the 2020 presidential election (which he lost by 7 million popular votes, and 306-232 in the electoral college) or they refuse to commit to accepting the election results in 2024... or both. Usually both.
From Meet the Press:
WELKER: "Will you commit to accepting the 2024 election results?"
TIM SCOTT: "At the end of the day, the 47th president will be Donald Trump."
WELKER: "Wait -- yes or no, will you accept the results?"
TIM SCOTT: "That is my statement."
In short, no. And she actually asked him four times in a row.
Prior to the Trump Cult, no candidate would have survived a pre-election declaration that they would not accept the election results. But in anti-American, anti-democracy TrumpWorld, especially in the veepstakes, refusing to accept a Trump loss is a requirement.

BHM: Yes, after all the associated lawsuits are settled.

Will the left?
Let's not forget the left rioted after Trump won and the democrats did their fair share of election lawfaring as well. Didn't the democrats also vote against certifying the election, as they usually do?

If Senator Scott refuses the results, he needs to find copies of TMF Liberal posts from 2000.
Just copy those and he'll have rhetoric ready to go.
If he wishes to get violent, just take pointers from 60's Dem Convention Liberals.
Or if he wants more modern election denial just find everything Liberals said about Trump winning 2016 vis a vis Putin.
He's got the work done for him.
NOW all he has to do is plagiarize it like Senator Biden would.
See? I'm BiPartisan.

Dope1: Will the left?
Shortly after Wisconsin was called for Trump, putting him over the 270 threshold needed to win the White House, Hillary Clinton called him to concede the election.
Later the same day in her concession speech she said: “I still believe in America and I always will. If you do, then we must accept this result and then look to the future. Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.”
Donald VonSchitzenPantz cried like a baby when he lost the election in 2020, led an insurrection after his decisive loss -- by an electoral margin he described as a "landslide" four years earlier despite Clinton winning the popular vote -- and after losing 60 times in court tried to send fake electors to steal the election for him.
And you idiots made him your nominee.

Hillary! Clinton called him to concede the election.
...and then proceeded to launch the biggest political scandal in history with her RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA hoax, a fraud that people like you still to this day believe.
I'm sorry, were you trying to argue my point for me? Heckuva job if you are.

Let's not forget the left rioted
I recall a bunch of protest, but no riots.
Didn't the democrats also vote against certifying the election, as they usually do?
These are objections on the floor during debates - not votes.

"And that, folks, is today's republican party."
It is cowardice. They are afraid of what happens if they do not toe the cult line of a stolen election.
If they are afraid to state the blatantly obvious truth, how can they be trusted to be strong enough to stand up to our nation's enemies?
There is no place for cowards in our nations government.
