Trump the Most Perfect must really have it in for Musk. Selling fuel milage credits had been a gold mine for Tesla for a long time.

This system had allowed automakers to sell or trade credits that they earned when their fleet outdid the fuel-efficiency targets to other automakers, typically leading companies with lineups full of gas cars to buy credits from EV makers like Tesla.
