I believe that collecting all the message threads between albaby1 and Dope and putting them into a book would actually make a fascinating and illuminating read.
As a moderate liberal (OK, I'm further left on some issues, particularly related to environmental issues), I side with albaby1 in these 'debates'. But I'm sure that a conservative would find a lot to agree with on Dope's side of the discussion.
And there is already enough material there to make a moderately sized book. Though there is a lot of repetition since Dope repeats himself a lot even after albaby1 has offered a thorough rebuttal.

And they would be wrong. Albaby sometimes gives his opinion, and anyone is free to disagree. But a lot of the time, he is correcting posters (not just Dope) on points of law, what is legal, what is illegal, and such. There really can't be much disagreement about the law**. They may wish the law was different, but it is what it is. So you can't -for example- sweep up a US citizen and deport them. You can't single out law firms with punitive executive orders. You can't violate due process. Coming to the US and requesting asylum is not illegal. Etc, etc, etc. The conservatives may not agree with those laws, but they are the law regardless. If they don't like it, they need to change it. Ignoring it is not cool.
**Though, some points are open to debate and interpretation, of course.

As someone who is further left on economic issues, but "moderate" otherwise.....
Are you happy with the level of importance given to Climate Change by the Trump administration? I ask---because you are more Left on enviornmental issues.
IF in the odd chance you feel Trump is bad for Climate change, do you feel that the he/him/they/them stuff was worth alienating voters from Democrats? (I ask you this because you are a moderate....)

Move all heavy polluters a short distance upwind from all properties owned/operated by Spankee. I see no problem with it. Why would anyone else? LOL !!!!

But they can if they simple ignore the law.
What's a judge gonna do about it?
Brownshirts simply cuff the judge at 3a.m in their pajamas, book 'em for being anti-trump, get them convicted by a Trump judge, and disbarred for being a convict.

I was answering the question about the applicability of the Constitution.
But, yes, in reality, we've seen that an actor willing to ignore the law can, in fact, deport US residents and citizens, fire whole departments, violate due process, issue EOs targeting law firms that were "mean to him", etc. It's completely illegal, but there seems to be few repercussions. At least so far.

Just a follow-on after reading more of albaby's take-downs of Dope1.
He could write that book in the style of one of the Greek philosophers (Plato?), where he is himself, and Dope1 plays the role of -I think- Meno. It's been a loooooooong time since philosophy class, but I seem to remember a series of works where the philosopher was systematically dismantling his opponent's (Meno?) arguments.
Seems to fit here.
