'Biden Fail: Hungary Providing Shelter for 250 Maui Families'
Snip
'Amidst harsh criticism of the Biden administration and Hawaii government officials for their response to the devastating and deadly Maui fires, the Hungarian government has reportedly stepped up to provide shelter for 250 Maui families. (snip) The ambassador added, 'The deployment of the shelters has begun today via air by the Hungarian Armed Forces, and the first 20 containers are expected to arrive to Maui on Monday [Aug. 21].' Anti-Communist, right-leaning Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Joe Biden have hardly been amicable before this; (snip) Biden called Orbán one of 'the thugs in the world' in 2020 while bashing Donald Trump, who was friendly with Orbán.'

The temporary housing structures are being provided by Family Life Center, a non-profit specialized in offering housing for the homeless in partnership with Continest, a Hungary-based organization whose home office is in Long Beach, California. Family Life Center purchased 60 pop-up homes and these units can house up to 120 individuals or 34 families. Family Life Center plans to purchase at least another 200 of these homes.
Family Life Center is buying these temporary housing units, Hungary is not giving them away. The units are being flown in
on a NATO plane, not by Hungary.
A company called RevoluSun from Oahu donated solar panels and batteries to power the units.

It is despicable what Joe Biden is doing to America.
The unvetted trash, yes, I mean trash Biden is welcoming in to America is shameful,

Florida has no border with Mexico. You like to use loaded words, but it's never been controlled, and vetting actually does catch more than I eveer thought it would. Still... Remember Reagan and his amnesty, then enforcement? Didn't work. See the border fences? Doesn't work. See the water barrels and razor wire? Kills some and doesn't work. The border does serve to fire up the Republican base, but they aren't really interested in

Here's a fact: Trump entered the White House with the goal of reducing

This is a fact: 85,000 migrants have been "repatriated" since Title 42 was lifted. That's up 65% since the same period last year, which saw 51,246. During the same period the previous year, there were 33,087 repatriations.
The Biden administration implemented a new, stricter asylum policy which reduced the number of illegal border crossings but a federal judge blocked the policy.
Your claim that "parental rights are being usurped by the schools and the state which is not encouraging the sexualization of children" doesn't actually make sense, does it? I assume you meant "schools and the state are encouraging the sexualization of children".
That sort of groomer rhetoric is part of a conservative effort to foster a moral panic that will help limit how and what educators teach by restricting history lessons, banning books, and curbing discussions of systemic racism and LGBTQ issues.
In the 1980s when women were entering the workforce in large numbers and placing their children in day-care centers, conservatives said the centers were sites of satanic ritual and sexual abuse. Focusing on the sexual predation of children is an effective tactic because it paints political opponents as inherently evil.
Wasn't someone here saying Generation Z "gets it"? Well, 21 percent of Generation Z say that they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or something other than heterosexual.
Tamra Farah, who is an executive director at Moms for America, said she, like you, is "concerned" about grooming, although she noted that she cannot "authoritatively" say if it's occurring in classrooms. Since she has no evidence proving educators are grooming children, she insists that they must "prove" they are not grooming children.
Long story short: no, I do not believe that schools or the state are sexualizing or grooming children. Maybe you're thinking of the Catholic Church or the Magdalene Laundries?

Your assumption is correct. As to the nonsense about book burning etc you obviously have not seen the reaction of school boards around the nation as parents begin reading sexually explicit passages to the school board members who themselves are appalled by the content and instructive nature of these books being placed in their junior/senior high school libraries. There are numerous youtube videos of these school boards simply shutting down the speakers or the meetings themselves because of the sexually explicit nature of the text.
In the area of schools keeping life altering secrets from parents about their children under the color of law is an explicit usurpation of parental rights to guide the upbring of their children. These children are not ...children of the state. That is for other countries like Russia, China, and Cuba for example.

Think about that for a moment. So every parent (who, incidentally is not an educator) should have his/her child taught in a manner they approve of and adheres to their belief system. So the parent who wants LGBTQ+ issues taught should be accommodated as should the parent who does not want LGBTQ+ issues taught. So the parent who wants the history of slavery taught should be accommodated as should the parent who does not want the history of slavery taught. And on and on and on.

II did think about it. These children are ..not..children of the state. The teaching of explicit sexual instructional material has nothing to do with LGBT awareness education. The mandate of school boards for a no opt out option for parents clearly usurps the parents right to supervise the sexual education of their children. Many people have personal and religious reasons for wanting to have this available as an option. Can you explain the benefit of have drag queen shows presented to children as low as elementary school or the use of a school having a field trip to watch a drag queen show. Please back up your statement with some facts for a change that people are for not teaching about the fact that slavery is part of our history. Now that is just a mindless talking point.

Folks on this board have long been putting their hands over their eyes and pretending that sexually explicit material is being shown to children at young ages, far too young to understand this sort of material. They'd rather claim that Florida said "Don't say gay" and is banning books left and right.
But what gets me is how on board they all are with some rando idiot at a school guiding a child toward life-altering medical treatments absent the consent or even input from a parent. The only article I could find "of a school having a field trip to watch a drag queen show" was an annual Columbia Values Diversity breakfast, an event that celebrates the civil rights legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King that concluded with a drag show in which adult attendees -- as is common in these performances -- tossed dollar bills at lip-syncing dancers who were dressed pretty conservatively (not sexual). As the school noted later: attendees were "not provided specific details of the performances in advance to the event." In short, they didn't know of the show in advance so, no, students were not taken on a field trip to watch a drag queen show.
The only other similar event I found was a Drag Queen Story Hour at Cellar Door Books in Riverside, California. In the audience were four children (with adults). Clearly advertised with the title "Drag Queen Story Hour," it's hard to see how this could offend anyone except people who are on the look-out for ways to be offended. Maybe like that Matt Schlapp fella' who likes to grab other men's genitals and who tried to settle one sexual assault lawsuit with a six-figure settlement before being schallped with two more sexual misconduct charges a few days ago.
Musta' been the drag queens that made him grab other men's genitals.

The premise of your question is incorrect. There is no such policy. Border Patrol is catching lots of folks, and sending them home. Just as they always have, for decades, under both Rep and Dem administrations.
If you're referring to asylum, that is a legal process. Which, by definition, is controlling and vetting.

Also, as it turns out , every state is now bordered with Mexico.
Every state is not just bordered with Mexico; every state is bordered with every country on earth- by land, by sea, by air. A growing number of the 8,500,000,000 billion people are scuttling around looking for a better life.
And conversely, nations around the world are bordered by the US, a country that exports its manufacturing pollution to their environments, gets cheap product thanks to their low labor rates, and backs up their governments for doing our bidding.

As a boater, you should know that it never has been and never will be controlled.
Walls don't stop boats. There's a steady flow of immigrants landing on our beaches, harbors, marinas, airfields. Even with our most sophisticated drones and inter-agency cooperation (Operation Stonegarden) 'we' only apprehend the tip of the immigration iceberg.
No. of Recommendations: 2
It's been that way for decades. The most common method is to overstay a valid visa. Others cross the border, use rafts/boats to come by sea (no border wall), apply for asylum and then disappear. It has always been so, and will always be so until the US is no longer attractive to them (i.e. "better life"). Republican administrations, Democrat administrations...it's omnipresent.
The ONLY way to slow it down is to go after employers. If illegal immigrants can't get jobs because employers require paperwork (or they get severe penalties), then they'll mostly stop coming. But right now it's "oops, I didn't know"...the migrant gets deported, and the employer gets a slap on the wrist (if that much). But Republicans don't seem to like that solution. They just want to build 20' walls, garrison troops there, etc. Didn't work for China (i.e. the Great Wall was a failure), and it won't work now.
You have to eliminate the demand, and fining employers is the way to do it. Or at least a way to do it.
