'Trump remains very rich, but with mounting legal bills and judgments,' the source said, noting that the renegotiated prenup would 'provide a more solid future' for Melania and Barron should the couple go their separate ways.
Did Melania actually say the words, 'Give me more money or I'll leave your ass'? No, a source told Page Six, but only because it was clearly implied. 'It's not that she threatened to leave him,' the source said. 'It's definitely the underlying idea.' According to another person familiar with the matter, the former first lady wanted the new deal to 'provide her with more money,' including cash and property, 'and also'there's a specific amount at minimum that Barron is supposed to obtain.'
As a person familiar with the matter told Page Six, 'This is at least the third time Melania has renegotiated the terms of her marital agreement.' Representatives for the Trumps did not reply to Page Six's request for comment. After Trump was inaugurated, the new first lady delayed moving with him to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue so she could 'amend her financial arrangement,' The Washington Post's Mary Jordan reported.

Me too.
As far as First Ladies go, Melania Trump ranks second following Jacqueline Kennedy.

At this rate, a renegotiated prenup isn't going to get her anything. We already know he isn't as rich as he claims, and a lot of his empire appears to be built on rotating debt. Which is now in jeopardy because he was inflating values for loans, but deflating them for taxes. If it all falls down, she's gonna get some percentage of nothing...which (...carry the 1...) is nothing.
I don't really care. She was a horrible First Lady. She couldn't be bothered to do any First Lady things, didn't care (which she painted on her clothes), and was basically a legalized prostitute. She only married Trump for his money, and a visa. She as much as said it when she told some reporter "I know what kind of man he is" (i.e. a despicable man). Of course, I'm in favor of legalizing prostitution, so I have no issue with that. She can use her body however she likes. Just callin' it like I see it. She doesn't appear to be any better a person than Donnie. I hope Baron doesn't get totally messed up with parents like that.

Before my time, but was Jackie Kennedy really all that good? I understand she was interested in history and preservation, and some say she is responsible for that movement in America (preserving cultural sites, old buildings, etc). Which is cool, if true.
My impression of her is that she was raised a spoiled rich girl, dutifully married a rich guy with presidential ambitions, was very pretty and glamorous, and also very superficial (i.e. I once read that she would not even allow John F to see her without makeup).
I haven't studied her, so freely admit I could be completely wrong. That's just the snippets I recall from around 6 decades living in the USA.
(I also never understood the "Camelot" thing. John made some bonehead moves. He was charismatic, and I credit him for serving on a PT boat in the war when his dad could have gotten him out of combat duty. But what did he really accomplish, except perhaps initiating the program that lead to Apollo? He also royally messed-up in Cuba.)

This is at least the third time Melania has renegotiated the terms of her marital agreement.
When viewed through Trump's thoroughly distorted, transactional lens of life, why would she be any different? She's just another creditor.
I, (insert name here), do agree to appear as the role of (insert role here) in the Trump Organization Faux Family LLC production of Domestic Tranquility. In this role, Contractee is required to attend at least five red carpet appearances per year (hand-holding optional), provide at least 20 seconds of video per appearance delivering "adoring spouse" look for use in campaign events, keep all children out of ear-shot of DJT, and handle all after-school carpools. In exchange for said services, DJT shall provide a yearly stipend of $250,000 for wardrobe, anti-depression medications, limo service to everywhere and a separate yearly $1,000,000 contribution to the Melania Be Best Trump Foundation to ensure continuity of this quality of life in the event of any force majeure, criminal conviction, civil judgement or bankruptcy of DJT or any of his shell corporations.
She is quite possibly Trump's most informed creditor... She cheated with him on wife #2, he's cheated on her at least two times for which there are receipts... She probably knows who he's defrauding financially right now. And she's fine with all of that. It was all baked into their "contract" from the time they first met. She's as transactional as he is.

I also never understood the "Camelot" thing.
The Camelot thing was an exercise in historical revisionism directed by Jackie herself. She literally invented the term and began wrapping people's interpretation of the JFK Presidency in that cultural metaphor from nearly the day he was shot. It might have been her way of coping psychologically with seeing her husband murdered next to her -- remember, SHE could have just as easily been killed in the assassination. It might have been her attempt to immediately begin masking all of the issues that would eventually be unearthed (his issues with Adkins, his drug use stemming from Adkins, his private immorality) that would obliterate the picture post card view that had been previously sold to the public (young couple, tanned handsome guy playing touch football on the lawn, a new start for America with the young generation...).
Regardless of her motivations, as journalists and historians of the time began trying to document what the JFK Presidency had been and what was lost, Jackie worked from the beginning to surround it in this aura of magical optimism and progress, when in fact it was as mired in reality as any other administration.

Right..as an example messed up Hunter Biden learning the con game from his crime boss dad.

Evidently, Beau Biden was great. Responsible, smart, hard-working. Hunter is messed-up. It happens.
Hopefully, Baron can rise above his parents, and be a decent human being. They certainly aren't, and neither are either of his half-brothers.

That is interesting. I always thought it was the Camelot thing that helped get him elected in the first place. Powerful messaging to sway the voters.
Granted, his term was cut short. But I always wondered if he had any real positive accomplishments (other than NASA).

Messed up his back, as I recall, such that he had chronic pain. Despite his chronic back issues he recognized the importance of fitness, the diminishing level of fitness in the US.. and so inspired many Americans to embark on fitness programs including the 50 miles in 12 hours march..
I remember weekend mornings at the beach, seeing groups of people walking down the coast on Pac Coast Hwy, astounded by the idea that people would walk 50 miles for fun.
Compare that to TFGs hamberders, gold plated crappers and golf cart fitness regimen.
