Biden is winning this one politically and optically.

If Republicans - especially Presidential candidates come out against this - they do so at their peril.

Is it great optics? Sure. Biden's going to set a price cap - that's what this is, there will be no negotiation - and ram it down their throats.

He'll bank the political W and never mind the long term effect this has. democrats and their fans don't consider that stuff.

I feel like you probably are right............

But - I'd rather us pick Clarence's replacement, not Biden or Newsom or Kamala.

If we come across as the "they whined while Biden cut drug prices, and their Taliban took our abortions away"......well, I feel they'll win.
