Just reframing your argument for accuracy’s sake, Jedi.

We’re in a battle for the continuation of liberal democracy. On one side, struggling though they are, are the liberal democracies of the world.

On the other side are the self named “illiberal democracies”of Orban, Erdogan, Putin and the guy who wants to join that club- Donald J. Trump. In the shadows, cheering them on are the full blown dictatorships of Xi, Iran’s mullahs and Kim Jong Un. Life is so much easier for them in a transactional world.

At stake is that reality that became a dirty word in your mouth long ago- “a rules based order”

But please….. we saw what you were doing there with your “Liberal Soviet Union”. As usual, you’re trying to make the jumbled puzzle pieces of your world view fit together.

After all, you have predictions to make and dragons to slay.
