One more angle to think about has to do with Part D deducible.
I take one med that is on that list of ten. It is so expensive, I hit the deductible upon the first fill. After that my cost is $42 per month. So if Biden cuts the price way down, it may take two or even three fills to hit the deductible, the savings to me will be $42 or $84 per year for those months where I am topping off the deductible and not paying the $42. Biden's effort may save my Part D insurance provider a bunch of money, but me, not so much.
