Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin all boosted a video from vice president Kamala Harris pledging to do her best for the citizens of the island nation after the trump hate rally made racist and sexist jokes about Latinos (“they love making babies... there’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside, just like they did to our country” and “There’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”) as well as racist jibes about Blacks who “carved watermelons” for Halloween with an antisemitic joke tossed in for good measure about how “Jews have a hard time throwing that paper.”

No biggie, though, republicans will say. Fox "News" won't be showing the racism, hate or fascism (well, except maybe for Jessica Tarlov).

And, what, Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin only have <checks notes> 314 million Instagram followers.

Holy shit!

You can tell this is a big deal, though, by the way (as mentioned earlier), republicans are either running away from this event or condemning the comments (but not condemning Trump or the Trump campaign that encouraged or approved the remarks) as fast as possible.

And the fact that the Trump campaign is in damage control mode, not a good place to be in the last week of an election (and this story is going to dominate news cycles for several days).
