President Donald Trump said Sunday evening that he is not intentionally engineering the ongoing stock market sell-off, but said little to try and dissuade it.

“I don’t want anything to go down, but sometimes you have to take medicine to fix something,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday night when asked about the markets.

Yeah, but it doesn't work when the "medicine" is essentially financial Ivermectin/hydroxychloroquine/forsythia(*) all wrapped up in one. You'll just get sicker and eventually die.

(*) Forsythia is the false treatment in the excellent movie Contagion.

Says the multibillionaire who doesn’t bother to pay his bills (it’s cheaper to tie them up in lawsuits) and doesn’t have to worry where his next meal is coming from (McDonalds).

I think they call that compassionate conservatism
