On January 20, 2025, I signed Executive Order 14172 (“Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness”). Among other actions, that Executive Order required the Secretary of the Interior, acting pursuant to 43 U.S.C. 364 through 364f, to “take all appropriate actions to rename as the ‘Gulf of America’ the U.S. Continental Shelf area bounded on the northeast, north, and northwest by the State of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida and extending to the seaward boundary with Mexico and Cuba in the area formerly named as the Gulf of Mexico.”

Note the bolded part. Apparently, the morons don't understand what the continental shelf area is. Clearly this idiotic and puerile EO only deems that the 22 miles extending from U.S. land is to be renamed. Morons!

They seem to have wanted this to apply to the "extended continental shelf" (was that a real thing before Trump 2.0?) but I guess the wrong hand doesn't know what the stupid hand is doing.

what a win for MAGA!
seems to keep them distracted from eggs, cars, houses, and pretty much all else they suddenly can afford in the trusk world.

now if we can just cut more of their benefits to restore confederate statues.
