I don't know why it's so funny either, but it is. Hopefully some day soon we won't have to watch this stuff and there can be political discussions with substance.

For some reason it is quite funny to see Sarah lip-syncing Trump's ridiculous word salad.

It’s funny because Trump has normalized spewing incoherent word salad like a demented crazy person.

When we see other people doing it, it’s humorous because we know the person is really normal.

Kind of like the difference between acting like a demented crazy person (Steve Martin in The Jerk) and being a demented crazy person (Trump). One is funny, the other is a bit more serious.
