Indeed - I don't have to agree with all of it or any of it to say it was an amazingly good speech - best of her career. I'm not a tribal Liberal 401K'er who can't see past philosophy or preference.
I saw half of it now on YouTube, give or take.
At least Hillary, despite having Bill Clinton's team ---assembled her own campaign staff and her own fundraising machine - -a machine she didn't squander in 5 weeks and poop out of the primary. At least she wasn't polling #5 in her home blue state and fizzle away in 5 weeks.
1st race she got close to the nomination but the hateful Liberals trounced her and a gifted candidate in Obama won ---but at least Hillary went the distance on her own.
2nd time around same thing. While not a formidable challenge in her own party - once more, team assembled, strategy pursued, she earned the nomination.
After being First Lady, she didn't do her best work on her back to get where she is. She won a Senate seat and was actually praised by colleagues on both sides - worked with the other side rather well. And while her staff was full of arrogant 401K Liberals who cost her the 2016 election and she didn't see what was happening -- she get damn close to the Presidency but at least she earned the nomination.
Now, this week, we will see someone given the nomination - - no effort, no planning, nothing. Just someone being told "Look, we gave it to you. Now shut top, stand there. Now stand there. Now wave. Now smile. Don't say this. Don't say that. We'll tell you what you stand for from here on out"
Wall Street applauds - so Club 401KJ corporatist Liberals are happy too.
They get to continue to be Master. If the Master's, uh, hmmmm...... pet project wins the Presidency, let us hope for one party control of the senate and congress too.
That - would be exciting and entertaining both.
