The week's question

In March 2025, in the thread "Re: OT, out", Umm asked the members: "Do you think it is because America is made up of magical soil that makes businesses based in America magically profitable?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

“But European domestic baggage is a lower limit than international, so we'd have to restrict our luggage a lot.”

A lot? Maybe you should do that regardless? Schlepping around Europe with “a lot” of baggage is no fun.

We did two weeks in Budapest, Bratislava, and Vienna with carry-on. We also do months in Europe the same way, since we’re going to need to do laundry, regardless. Maybe you want/need a bit more, but “a lot” more?
