So maybe offering a buyout to every civilian federal employee might not be the best thing for air traffic safety, given that we're already short of controllers in the first place.

I’m guessing that air traffic controllers, as well as most other federal employees, have figured out that the buyout offer is basically bullshit, because there’s no money in the budget to fund it.

Not to mention that the offer came in a stupid email asking them to hit “return” and check “yes” if they accepted the offer.

This administration is good at banging drums and expelling vast quantities of hot air with nothins substantial backing it up.

It’s like they’re building a Hollywood set- all facade, with only an empty field to greet you when you walk “inside”.
