Xianity needs to perish. So does Islam. And Judaism. The Abrahamic traditions need to wither and die. And it is happening, at varying rates, in many countries. Several European nations are around 80% non-believer, and even the US has gone from less than 10% to more than 35% just in my lifetime.
I once heard the phrase "the internet: where religions go to die". And I think there is some truth to that. People used to have very small social circles in this country, and you didn't really get diversity of opinions and philosophies. The internet opened all that up, and people in ever-increasing numbers are realizing it's all BS. It's factually wrong in almost every claim that can be verified, it's internally inconsistent, and it relies on a number of logical fallacies to believe any of it.
I doubt it will completely perish ever, but if we can get about 90% worldwide, that's probably good enough.
