All I'm saying is.....him with a megaphone......going tough guy on Trump's troops and then being somewhat forcefully arrested.
His primary numbers would go *up* and I can just see him in the debates telling Shapiro and Beshear and Moore "you guys were fundraising while I was fighting Trump's army"......
If I was on his team I'd literally be engineering and or begging for him to be arrested.

Trump said he wanted him arrested but TACO. Trump never backs up his words when there is any risk to Trump. I've been saying this for years. I've love to be in a room negotiating the opposite position as Trump. He's the weakest negotiator I've ever seen. If you call his bluff he might freak out and get enraged, but he always backs down.
That's why Newsome is asking to be arrested. He knows Trump will never do it. That's also why ICE is picking people at their court appointments. It is dead easy. No risk, no effort. Going after MS-13 is tough. Requires both risk and effort. So Trump is ignoring them.
