Woo-Hoo!

The Diner had the short rib special today so naturally I went and Mrs Jedi came too.

Nice deal as usual, homemade chicken soup. Decent portion of short rib, mashed, corn on cob, roll * (yes, a white roll...there is no other kind) and it's usually $15.99 plus tax and tip.

Well for the month of April it's across the board 10% off and yes, I get off on free food or good deals on food. So before tip - it was $30.89 for two and it's a weekday, so - well - the crowd isn't too heavy, and it's safe too. They probably say "back in my day" more than I do. Though I hope to be at hat level some day.

Might have to add on an extra visit a week this month.
