“Now, an unlikely admirer of Trump's fast start, former Biden pollster and top Democrat Party strategist Celinda Lake, has said the quiet part out loud. (I'm not fond of the trite, overly-used phrase, but it so fits, in this case.)
“As I've watched President Donald Trump's incredible energy over the last three days and the number of issues he pledged to accomplish, a thought has run through my head several times: This must all feel like death by 1,000 cuts to the Democrat Party and left as a whole.
At least those who are rational enough to see it.
As some on our side have said, Trump accomplished more in the first 48 hours of his second term than former President Joe Biden accomplished during four years of his miserably failed presidency.
He showed the power of solo executive leadership, he’s shown that he brings about change, he’s been decisive and seemed on top of it. He seemed confident, and I think he did a really good job. His numbers are improving, and even though [some] people disagree with his policies, they think he’s doing a good job.”
