2% divy. 16.52 P/E ttm. Rough Qtr. CEO murdered, sadly. Cramer says to buy, so you have that going for you. Anyone like it here?

If physicians and hospitals have their way they would like to see this company go belly up; and for the most part, patients don't like them either (at least when they find they actually need them).
United has faced widespread criticism for its high rate of claim denials, including allegations of using artificial intelligence to systematically deny claims, even for terminally ill patients. Hospitals, caught in the middle, face financial strain when claims are denied, impacting their ability to provide care.
Hospital systems have reported significant conflicts with United over payment delays and contract terms. As bad as it is for hospital systems, private practice physician groups get this in spades with less power to fight them.
In many cases it will come down to the actions of state insurance regulators and state legislatures. So it becomes politics and then politicians decide where their interests lie. I hope they ultimately step on United's throat which is a goal of many PACs in my state.
If you are all about making money, then by all means become a part owner of the company. Maybe find some tobacco companies to buy at the same time.

Many years ago my wife was rushed to ER for a life threatening condition, she was losing blood. She is saved after surgery and United Healthcare denied the insurance claim. I had to go through benefits specialists to get them to pay. No sympathy from me for them.

Currently down to $302 down −18.60 today. The news just keeps getting worse for these assholes. Odds are there are a few more skeletons that will come tumbling out of the closet. Could be a great time to buy, but I have no interest in being an owner in a company like this.
