Recent ambition hit me, we'd ordered, had on hand a couple new 44" Minka 3 blade fans to replace a couple 52" Hunter ceiling fans I'd put in, over 30 years ago. They worked fine, I'd added remotes, one had a light under it, but time marches on...

Had some serious help from my BIL, I didn't feel up to being up on a ladder, handling it as I'd originally done, each was a challenge, making the wiring fit in the canopy/cover, finding that one screw hole.. But we did it...

Now what to do with the old fans, called a couple local possible places to donate them, but in the end Habitat for Humanity's Restore, 18 miles up the highway, glad to take them, a simple drive-through drop-off... Yea, Gone! Whew...

Very large ReStore, I resisted going in, maybe another time, but likely a spot to donate a lot of my surplus tools.. They didn't want my old NiMh DeWalt drills, saws, chargers, so they will have to be trashed one day... But other hand tools, hammers, seems like a good place to donate, pass them along...
