Reading this thread reminds of the old Steve Jobs RDF. For those not familiar, RDF stood for Reality distortion field.
I think the more technical description is perception trumps reality. It is really nice that the MAGA crowd will view the world under Trump as so much better than it has been... regardless of reality.
Of course the concern for Dem voters is with the perception distortion Reps are more likely to stay in power, regardless of the reality.
