putin must be fuming that the trumpet cant get the basics right :

- russia needs ACTIVE american military command diminished, not those retired! putin is running out of time in a spectacular manner* that is getting near zero media airtime (presumably because it would weaken trump's arting a deal on their behalf)

- the idea was that european NATO spends more on defense to the detriment of other civil programs, not actually use those resources against russia!
this is absolutely happening and will continue, as there is no way free europe will risk further encroachment based on putin or trump's pledges. europe NATO will even run bigger deficits as needed; they are smart enough to realize brave people are dying partly on their behalf for as long as it takes.
