far away from the analytically-incapable MAGA that repeat the latest rightwing talking points (regardless of how implausible or contradictory) on shrewdm, i sense a mass of trump voters that dont fit this profile.
am posting here in case others have directly encountered such groups, and would share, as they seem media shy and\or ratings poor.

-----------------
in our neighborhood are some close family friends that pre-date trump's first presidential publicity stunt in the mid-80s.

they belong to a tight-knit group of ~5 dozen small business owners, all firmly convinced that trump is fully in line with GOP propaganda as perpetually being the best choice for all businessmen.

their traits, in combination, are a bit unusual :
- less than half graduated high school
- most have 1 american-educated kid with an advanced degree, and another helping run the business
- all are minorities
- all have labor-intensive businesses, none which could run without undocumented workers and legal immigrants
- some themselves arrived undocumented, decades ago
- as DIY'ers, the above traits means all have continuous tax filing and gov documentation troubles
- all are religious, but no fundamentalists
- if the business has a lobby, fox news is usually left on by an employee...but it's always in the background.
- all will vote, but not as a priority over a work-related conflict. less than half by mail.
- its not clear how they are registered, but have always ignored polls of any sort

in summary they have no interest nor the basic civic fundamentals to understand policy.
regarding trump's racism, sexism, immigration policies, outright stupidity; it doesn't seem to register since no one in the group has felt direct offense (i know, its a ridiculous benchmark). if they hear about trump's tax and business struggles, they fully empathize.
for the most part, they never say much about either candidate, other than trump will be very good for their business (it sounds peer-induced, but they really have no further insight into why this would be true).

i wonder if you tweak some traits here and there, this is really where GOP votes come from.
